Being influenced by Frankfurt’s electronic music scene and its legendary airport club “Dorian Gray”, german sound mastermind DOUG LAURENT started deejaying back in 1985. Shown on many occasions behind the turntables, he pushed crowds worldwide to experience a variety of emotions with his progressive but melodic trance style.

Doug Laurent gave prove of his versatility by releasing “TECHNO TRANCE ESSENTIALS” and “HOUSE ESSENTIALS” (distributed by Ueberschall / Best Service), collections of each more than 2500 unique sounds from his archives, supporting his philosophy of constant innovation. Doug Laurent’s year-long experience in licence-, catalogue- and publishing-deals and his network of partner offices in San Francisco, Montreal, London, Tokyo and Sydney made him become a supervisor for various compilation series.
